Family Reunification Support:

Strong families are at the heart of successful reentry. HOTT provides both emotional and practical support to help parents rebuild trust, reconnect with their children, and heal relationships strained by incarceration. We advocate for families’ rights and ensure they have access to the resources needed to thrive together.

Youth Leadership & Empowerment:

We equip young people with the skills and confidence to become changemakers in their communities. Our programs help youth embrace their potential, build self-worth, and take pride in their identity and future.

Know Your Rights
Through workshops and interactive training, youth and young adults learn how to navigate systems, understand their legal rights, and advocate for themselves in school, with law enforcement, and in the community.
Public Speaking & Storytelling
We train participants to reclaim their narratives and use their voices for impact. From classroom discussions to community events, youth and returning citizens learn to share their stories with power and clarity, transforming personal experiences into tools for advocacy and leadership.
Loving Your Community
HOTT instills pride, responsibility, and belonging by teaching youth and families to value their communities. We emphasize building healthy relationships with parents, teachers, peers, and authority figures, including police officers, so that communication, trust, and collaboration can grow.

Mediation:

With Courts, Probation, Parole, and Agencies, We serve as a trusted bridge between returning citizens and state, county, and federal systems. Through certified mediation, HOTT helps resolve conflicts, address compliance issues, and ensure individuals’ rights are upheld—reducing barriers that often lead to re-incarceration.

Clemency, Commutation, and Pardon Support:

HOTT guides individuals and families through the complex process of preparing and filing clemency, commutation, and pardon packets. By combining advocacy with legal expertise, we give survivors and returning citizens a real chance at justice, dignity, and a second chance at life.

Peer-to-Peer Mentoring & Re-entry Navigation:

We believe transformation is most powerful when guided by lived experience. Our peer mentors—many of whom have walked the same path—help participants set goals, access resources, and stay connected to supportive networks. This hands-on support builds confidence, resilience, and hope for the future.
