Fan Yang

Fan is an ambitious Legal Intern at Helping Ourselves to Transform (HOTT) graduated from Georgetown University Law Center. With a strong focus on social justice, Fan conducts extensive legal research on pertinent social justice issues, prepares testimonies to amplify the voices of marginalized individuals, shedding light on their experiences and advocating for systemic change. Furthermore, Fan also takes the initiative to correspond with universities on behalf of HOTT, advocating for the inclusion of criminal justice courses and lectures in their curriculum. Recognizing the importance of education in fostering understanding and empathy, Fan strives to expand HOTT’s influence and promote meaningful discourse on criminal justice reform.
