A native of Illinois and Maryland transplant, Zormarah (Zhee) Lyda is a multifaceted veteran with 17 years of distinguished federal government service as a Human Resources Manager, Change Manager, Master Resilience Trainer, and Equal Opportunity Leader. Her passion for advocacy and commitment to developing others led her to launch Candidly Unsed in 2021, a Life and Leadership Coaching practice designed to equip tomorrow’s leaders today. Zormarah’s exceptional service has been recognized with numerous awards for performance and professionalism, including the Presidential Service Badge, which she earned while serving as a full-time staff member to the President of the United States. She extends her service as a Military Advisory Board Member for Maryland’s Fourth District under Congressman Glenn Ivey. As a HOTT board member, Zormarah brings outstanding interpersonal skills, humor, candor, and a proven record of working cohesively with elite government officials. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Services with a concentration in Sociology, grounding her leadership in both lived experience and academic rigor.
